Mieke Anderson

Multimedia Storyteller

I am a journalist, narrative audio producer and multimedia storyteller — winner of the 2018 Third Coast International Audio Festival’s inaugural Best Serialized Story Award and the 2019 Canadian Screen Award for Best Cross-Platform Project.

“An unbelievable, heartbreaking tale, and a triumph” — Vulture (Finding Cleo)

“Innovation where it collides with craft and entertainment” — The Atlantic (Escaping Nxivm)

I lead complex multiplatform co-productions, my podcasts consistently debut at #1 on the charts and my radio work has aired across North America on CBC, NPR and PRI. My site-specific sound installations and live performances have been featured at NAISA’s Deep Wireless Festival and the Radio Without Boundaries conference.

I was partly raised hablando español in Mexico.
