Mieke Anderson

Multimedia Storyteller

 

Mieke is the senior producer of Canada's first podcast-turned-TV show to premiere on a major network — now also streaming on Hulu and entering its fifth season. She was recruited to help create and launch the true crime series, after almost 10 years at the CBC working as a narrative audio producer, story editor and multimedia podcaster.

Mieke’s work has been named among Apple's Best Podcasts and Most Downloaded New Shows, and featured in The New York Times, Rolling Stone, The Guardian, Vulture, BuzzFeed, The Atlantic.

Her award-winning CBC investigative podcasts have consistently debuted at #1. She’s collaborated with CBC’s top shows, including the premier documentary program The Fifth Estate. And her radio pieces have appeared across North America on NPR, PRI and at international audio festivals.
